Fish Mill Lodges and RV Park is only 2 miles from the Beach!

These pictures were taken at Siltcoos Recreation Area where Siltcoos River enters the ocean two miles south of Fish Mill Lodges.

Just 18 miles north of FML is Heceta Head Lighthouse, one of the most photographed lighthouses in the U.S.

Cape Perpetua Overlook and Stone Shelter 20 miles north. This is the highest point so close to the Oregon Coast at 802 feet! You can see Hwy 101 on the upper left.

When the tide is right Devil's Churn can also be seen from atop Cape Perpetua.

There aren't a lot of handrails or fences around so bring a leash for the kiddies!

The Stone Shelter was built in the 1930's as a lookout for enemy ships and planes in WWII .

Now it's used for whale watching and it's a great subject for us shutter bugs.

Sunset Bay State Park is about an hour south of FML but it's well worth your time!

Lots of rocks for the waves to crash over and wildlife runnin' a muck.

Shore Acres State Park borders Sunset Bay State Park to the south.

Great rock formations and Botanical Gardens.

Pack a lunch so you can hang out with the sea lions at Simpson reef.
