These dunes are part of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area (ODNRA).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You really owe it to yourself to experience the dunes when you're in the area because they're vanishing & may not be here in just a few generations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You'll be glad you did!

 

 

 

 

 

The ODNRA is over 40 miles long and only a few miles inland from the coast.

 

 

 

 

 

Watch the action from your vehicle at the South Jetty Staging area 5 miles north of FML.

 

 

 

 

 

Less than a mile south of the Siuslaw River Bridge, South Jetty Road heads west from Hwy 101 at mile marker 191.7. Turn off for South Jetty Staging area is about a mile ahead and on the left.
